Rochester aka Juice, Toronto, ON
Rapper
Veteran MC, Rochester aka Juice has toured the country numerous times in his career and has broken into mainstream music by having his songs played on commercial radio.
Choclair, Toronto, ON.
Rapper
In 1997, Ontario native Kareem Blake (performing as Choclair), released the single "21 Years" and was rewared with Canada's version of the Grammy- the Juno- for his debut efforts. The following year, he walked away with another Juno for Northern Touch and the accolades didn't stop there, as the emcee was awarded the prestigious Artist of the Year from the Urban Music Association of Canada in the summer of 1999. That's coming a long way from freestyling at house Parties in the mid-eighties as a teenager. Choclair ("light as air") performed at school and at talent shows before hooking up with fellow Canadian emcees and producers Kardinal Offishall, Saukrates and Jully Black. In short order, he became the first Canadian signed onto a major American label (Virgin's Priority Records) and released his first full-length album, Ice Cold, to heat up the charts in early 2000. ~ Roxanne Blanford, Rovi
Moka Only, Vancouver, BC.
Hip-Hop Artist
Standing 6'5, he's a personable man, lavish when interested, but more intrigued with everyday detail than paparazzi fodder. A resume of considerable note with a residency that stretches more than 10 years in the music industry, West Coast artist Moka Only is far from new to this. If anything he's proven that the proverbial last man standing isn't necessarily the last place you'd want to be. Reunited with the spirit of his earlier solo work, Moka returns to the vibrancy of his past as he forges a new path towards the future of music. The direct result - his debut cd, The Desired Effect. A concise 14-track collection that captures the beautiful collaborative fervor Moka has long likened to his Jazz-adored take on life. "Forget what you think you know about Moka Only from the Swollen Members and get ready to be surprised" (Canadian Music Network)
Sayzee, Toronto, ON.
GNA, New York, NY.
Karl Wolf, Toronto, ON.
For Karl Wolf, the most important thing about The Export Vol. 1 was that it reflects who he is as an individual and recording artist in equal measure. The title and title track, Wolf says, are inspired by the journey that took him from his birthplace in war torn Lebanon to his current home in Toronto, Canada. “I left Lebanon when I was three, went to Dubai, then Montreal, and now I live in Toronto so I feel like I don’t belong in any one place. I’ve been an export all my life.”
KGoon, Montreal, QC.
Leondro
Knemesis & Baby Grhyme, Toronto, ON.
Ray Robinson
Ray is true professional and expects nothing but the best from his band. The band are all young cats but they've been playing music all their lives and can be considered veterans. This band can really jam with the best of them. Fresh off of his amazing showing at the 2004 Canadian Urban Music Awards(CUMAs), Reach Records is proud to congratulate our signature artist, Ray Robinson on his award for R&B Single Of The Year for “Missed Your Chance” at the prestigious CUMAs show held in Toronto on October 21st, 2004. Recently Ray was nominated for a 2005 Juno Award for the R&B/Soul Recording Category. The last quarter has been a time of bountiful blessings for Ray, who was nominated for 3 CUMAs that evening – no small feat for an artist who saw his first vinyl pressed in 2004. Since his debut album, WHAT IT IS dropped in August, Ray is quickly becoming the most captivating artist to watch artist in Canada’s urban music scene. Barely breaking a sweat, Ray has crisscrossed Canada with appearances that have taken his signature soul filled, rich voice to the stage from Montreal, Ottawa, Edmonton and Vancouver, not to mention show after show at home in Toronto. This is only going to heat up for winter – this fall, Ray joined the roster of Paquin Entertainment Inc., who promise to keep this talented and highly sought after artist on the road and at a gig near you. Ray Robinson, nee Rayon Henry, has been honing his craft for over ten years. Inspired by the church, Ray begun his pursuit of a musical career through gospel as a member of a group in the U.S. The group toured extensively throughout the United States, even gracing the stage of the musical mecca, The Apollo Theatre. Following the Apollo performance, the group garnered recognition and an album was highly anticipated. Touring had helped them build a fan base; unfortunately the group did not last.

He started young getting advice from vocal coaches in his community church quire, which came in handy for keeping him busy. While growing up in project housing, so unlike many of his peers who had been lost either to jail, drug addiction or violence, L.I.P used his music as an outlet for both his emotions and staying out of trouble. while still helping the youth within his community as well as helping his family cope with the tragic untimely death of his uncle. knowing that limited finances were available, L.I.P decided to sacrifice his education to help his single mother pay the bills. While in this period L.I.P had been part of numerous musical groups and projects, a lot of which he never received proper credit for, as his passion and love for music outweighed his desire for validity which would change Instantly when he was released from a Jamaican hospital cheating death, after being hit by a transport vehicle. From that day forward L.I.P realized his time was precious and would no longer waste it by not pursuing his love for music, and being a positive voice and role model letting those living similar situations and struggles know that there is hope.

Her soulful chops are complemented by uplifting pop inflections, showcasing her expert ability to flex and adapt to various vocal styles.
Habe, Edmonton AB
Songwriter/Performer
Born on October 12th, 1980 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, Habe's musical talent was not instantly evident, but his passion for life was. There's very little mystery about him. What you see is what you get. He spent most of his childhood years living back and forth between Canada and his homeland. His musical influence began at the age of 5; dancing in local shows and competitions in Tanzania as well as listening to of as many records and tapes he could get his hands on. His favorites include icons such as Sade, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Seal, James Brown, H-Town, The Temptations, Gloria Estafan, Maxwell, Lionel Richie, Jodeci and D'Angelo. If his musical style was to be summed up in one sentence; Habe has the passion of a Tupac Shakur, mixed with the Charisma and charm of a Marvin Gaye. He is the voice of the people - The people who for years have been told to stop holding on to foolish dreams, to give up because of where they are from. The people who have gone against the grain, against popular opinion. Calling Habe stubborn would be an understatement. God put him on this earth to make people happy and at the same time, teach as much as he can about the ups and downs of life. His success in music will be a testament to life more than a personal accolade. -- “In the eyes of empire builders men are not men but instruments” - Napoleon Bonaparte
